Shape-wise, this is one of the most conservative, well-balanced Mastro de Paja briars I've ever encountered, but it certainly has plenty of style. The bowl is dressed in a crisp, jet-black sandblast with countless waves of rippling grain cascading down the bowl. The dark stain is tastefully contrasted by the smooth, lightly stained briar along the rim and shank end. The sterling silver accent adds a regal dose of flash to the composition and while it looks like a military mount configuration, this piece actually features a standard tenon arrangement. Unsmoked.
