Radice's Dark finish is one of the workshop's most striking, and perhaps all the more so because of how different it is from their others. Most Radice finishes are of an obviously warm character, ranging from the lightness of the Clear, or the amber hues of the Underwood, to the extreme richness of the Rubino. The Dark, however, is a pure chic ebony look at a distance. Get closer and you'll see it is in fact a contrast stain consisting of black and an ultra-dark gray, leaving a subtle, smoky impression of the briar's grain intact. And it just happens to be perfect for a trim, handsome, and compact Dublin like this one. Unsmoked.
