To say that Claudio Cavicchi is known for his finishes is not to say that the Italian artisan doesn't excel at shaping, but, rather, that his finishes are just that good. Here is one of Cavicchi's lesser-seen finishes, a crisp, extra-rugged rustication, adorning a bold, broad, and low-slung Rhodesian. The stain is rich and deep, the darker hue accented with touches of lighter brown at the height of the texture's peaks — matched by the smooth briar around the waist's beadlines.
