Italian Estates: Mastro de Paja Smooth Bent Billiard (3) (A) (1979)

Product Number: 004-006-25374

Fashioned back in 1979, this vintage Mastro de Paja demonstrates the workshop's more conservative shaping style, yet includes some playful design cues. The Billiard bowl is fairly traditional in its execution but is paired to a square paneled shank and an ever-so-slightly downturned stem. The low-set, elongated transition can be utilized as a thumb rest while the paneled shank allows this piece to sit surprisingly well, sitting back on the stem's button.
