More traditional than some of Castello's pieces, this bent Bulldog doesn't stray far from the old-school standards, but don't be fooled; this piece is indicative of the Italian school's penchant for exaggerated proportions. Featuring plenty of chamber contained within a very generous bowl, the form's signature twin beadlines serve to draw the visual weight. A brief, but robust shank is paired to a gently tapered, contrasting, black stem. A gorgeous stain highlights some spectacular grain patterns. Hearty and full of character, this piece remains unsmoked.
