Italian Estates: Mastro Beraldi Partially Sandblasted Freehand (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-006-25662
A brand launched by Aldo Pierluigi in 1977, Mastro Beraldi pipes have maintained popularity because of their excellent value, offering great pipes at reasonable prices, like this striking, dual-finished Freehand. The bowl's fore and flanks have been treated to a crisp sandblast while the rest of the stummel is smooth, revealing a brilliant array of birdseye along the entire underside. The rim is concave in orientation, resembling a heart in profile thanks to the ridgeline used to demarcate the two distinct finishes. The stout, abbreviated shank continues the bowl's heartiness before the gently downturned, horn-hued acrylic stem completes the composition. Unsmoked.- Jeffery Sitts
