Almost devoid of noticeable transition, this bent Ball from Ardor favors muscular proportions and generous curves — the top of the shank almost rising to the rim. Generously curving, the shank end does rise above the rim before transitioning into a deeply bent stem, and said shank end and stem base are further commended by sterling silver fitments. Wearing the dense Urano rustication, the bowl and shank offer an intriguing texture, with just the upper-most portion of the bowl left smooth and shaped in a scalloped pattern to contrast.
