Italian Estates: Castello 'Castello' Bulldog (KKKK) (2011)

Product Number: 004-006-28469

While Castello's bent Bulldogs often feature a squat, low-set bowl, the Italian workshop's straight renditions are more commonly of the tall, stoic variety, like the one seen here. In this substantial, straight rendition, we see a tall, poised bowl rising up from the hearty, diamond shank, resulting in a firm heel underneath. It's perfect for those interested in shape chart standards but who like the robust proportions and unabashed presentation of the Italian school. The shape's signature beadlines wrap around the bowl's midsection underneath the strongly tapered rim, while the chamber inside is remarkably capacious. The shank-end features an acrylic accent for an army mount configuration, enabling this pipe to be taken apart easily for cleaning or when traveling.
