Broad and stout, this bent Pot from Musico offers a subtly rounded bowl with the squat disposition often associated with the shape. The low-set transition and the trim proportions of the shank-and-stem arrangement provide the bowl with visual prominence in profile. The abbreviated shank is extended by a two knuckles of bamboo that lend the pipe's composition an organic quality, the light colors of the material offsetting the rugged, earth-toned sandblast that dresses the stummel. A saddle stem of jet-black vulcanite tops off the design, making a subtle downturn for a relaxed smoking position.
