This Billiard from Max Rimensi of Il Duca is a muscular, stout interpretation of the classic form, with the robust bowl poised at the end of a straight line of shank and stem. Dressed in an extra-dark sandblast that shows off densely packed ring grain, this piece is further commended by a handsome accent ring of maple burl, the swirling patterns complementing the cumberland stem. Unsmoked.
