Italian Estates: Becker Smooth Bent Dublin (Two Diamonds) (1983-1995)

Product Number: 004-006-30228

Becker pipes span three generations of family artisans, composed of Fritz Becker and his son, Paolo, and now continued by his grandson, Federico. This estate example was fashioned sometime between 1983 and 1995, spanning periods when both Fritz and Paolo were carving Becker pipes. Proportionally, it's one of the Italian carvers' more robust designs, with hearty substance through the transition and upward-flaring bowl, but it does well to maintain the dynamic posture seen through Becker's portfolio. It wears a smooth, chestnut finish, defining handsome flame grain across the bowl.
