One of the liveliest "55" examples I've seen in quite some time, this unique rendition shows some more traditional Castello shaping cues combined with an especially exquisite piece of plateau briar. Indeed, a full, tight crown of rugged, dimpled plateau is bolstered by an undulating, carved and fluted surface, the likes of which are adorned with all manner of lovely flame grain. That grain is beautifully highlighted by the Collection's warm, vibrant finish, making for a stellar showcase of iconic Castello cues. If you're an avid Castello collector and have been waiting for a unique rendition of what is perhaps the workshop's most iconic shape, this piece is a must have.
