Italian Estates: Ardor Urano Bent Apple (DR)

Product Number: 004-006-31737

The first thing that came to mind upon retrieving this Ardor pipe for the update was the distinctive shape of the bit: it looks quite similar to the neck of a guitar when viewed from above. That could be because I'm an avid guitarist myself, or always tend to have a healthy mix of Led Zeppelin or The Who playing when describing pipes. Getting back on track now, here we have a broad, low-slung take on the bent Apple from the Roveras. The stummel's dressed in a rugged application of the Urano rustication, stained a tan hue and contrasted by the smooth rim up top. It's nicely complemented by a distinctive translucent, tortoiseshell-hued acrylic stem out back, that also displays a curvaceous profile.
