Italian Estates: Claudio Cavicchi Smooth Bent Egg (CCC)

Though labeled here as a bent Egg, there's certainly a bit of Cobra about this piece from Claudio Cavicchi as well, I think. The smooth paneling, sweeping transition, lifting gesture of the heel, and even the poised stance of the bowl itself all define this more modern interpretation — one which Cavicchi's simply knocked out of the park here. Bearing a prestigious "CCC" grade and dressed in one of Claudio's vibrant, honey-blonde stains, this piece features some neat, perfectly oriented flame grain along each flank, with birdseye running along its paneled underside.
