Italian Estates: Ascorti Smooth Pot (KS) Tobacco Pipe

This Ascorti Pot is a remarkably squat, yet muscular interpretation from the Italian workshop and features a broad, stout bowl up front that commands the majority of the piece's visual weight. The shank is also quite robust, its midsection accented by a bright brass band while the stem flares suddenly before gradually tapering toward the lip button. Finished in a rich, walnut stain, there's plenty of flame grain to admire around the bowl's flanks.
