With a broad bowl, plateau-crowned rim, and plenty of sweeping flame grain swirling about the bowl's circumference, this demurely-bent Dublin from Savinelli's Autograph series is a beautiful example of the work produced by the marque's talented artisans. Given select blocks of briar and the freedom to hand-carve unique shapes, the series focuses on pieces that are elegant, stylish, and precise. We see that elegance quite plainly in the stretch of shank and stem, with the former angled upward quite slightly, and the latter curving down just a touch, lending the overall composition a graceful poise.
