Italian Estates: Mario Pascucci Partially Rusticated Cherrywood Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-33559
Dynamically inclined and strikingly forward canted, this Cherrywood from Mario Pascucci is quite the active piece, with no shortage of charm. Sitting proudly and steadily on its flattened, slanted heel, the bowl reaches forward quite a bit, though with a good deal of curvature about its build which continues through the transition and shank, with the latter possessed of a gradual taper. This taper meets a set of fitments, with a pair of trim metal bands flanking a multicolored acrylic ring at the shank end, leading to a demurely curved stem of stylized black acrylic, with a wrapping channel at its base. Dressed in a naturally finished rustication, this piece features a wealth of texture, with smooth segments at the shank and just below the plateau-crowned rim, making for a pipe that is impossible to miss and a pleasure to hold.
