Italian Estates: Radice Underwood Cherrywood (2008) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-33782
Coming in at exactly five inches in length, this Cherrywood from Radice is fairly compact, but it features a tall, heavy-set bowl that houses a healthy chamber capacity. Said bowl, in typical Italian neoclassical style, holds most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the comparatively trim shank-and-stem arrangement. The shank and stem boast an aquiline curvature that brings to mind the Hawkbill and provides a touch of sinuosity to the design. The muscular bowl possesses a flat heel that enable the piece to sit sturdily without the aid of a stand, making it ideal for those looking for a desk pipe. The stummel wears the rugged Underwood finish, which provides offers plenty of texture for the fingers to explore.
