A sleek, streamlined piece, this Picta Miro series Poker from Ser Jacopo is on the more conservative end of Italian marque's shaping spectrum, with a minimalist, utilitarian appearance that pays homage to a pipe rendered in one of the artist's works. The tall, cylindrical bowl stands proudly at the fore of an elongated shank and an abbreviated saddle stem. The bowl's flattened heel enables the piece to sit sturdily without a stand, while a single beadline wraps just below the softly inflated rim. It's dressed in a smoky, ruby-hued smooth finish, which showcases some handsome birdseye across the fore of the bowl. A trim band of sterling silver accents the shank end and provides an extra dose of flash to the overall composition. Presented unsmoked.
