Italian Estates: Castello Sea Rock Briar Bent Billiard (KKK) (Pi) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-34040
Castello was founded in 1947 by Carlo Scotti and is one of Italy's most successful workshops, celebrated for its iconic shaping style and stunning finishes. This bent Billiard is a fine testament to that aesthetic, featuring a tall, rounded and deep-chambered bowl with a firm heel. A lengthy stretch of shank and stem merge from a low-set, thick transition, the stem elegantly turned down at the bit for a striking silhouette. This Cantu-made piece bears a "Pi" stamp, indicating dual finishes, with the stout bowl wearing the craggy, earthy Sea Rock rustication, save for the rim, which, along with the remainder of the stummel, is smooth and lightly stained for contrast. Presented unsmoked.
