A bold, muscular rendition of the Pot shape, this piece from Caminetto features a stout, heavy-set bowl that overshadows the comparatively trim shank-and-stem arrangement that trails out back. Compression along the flanks lends the bowl an oval appearance when viewed from above, which is a distinctive shaping choice that elevates the in-hand presence of the pipe. This piece is smartly dressed in a warm, auburn smooth finish that highlights sweeping flame grain on either flank of the bowl and whorls of birdseye across the broad rim.
