Hearty and bold, this bent Billiard from Castello is full-bodied and stout, in the Italian style of taking a classic shape and dramatizing the proportions. The bowl is immensely chambered, with rounded, insulating walls that fill the hand with substance. Castello has applied its iconic, dark Old Antiquari sandblast to the stummel, except for the smooth rim and accent band on the stem. This pipe is texturally and visually delightful and a fine example of Castello's creativity and talent.
