Far removed from the overtly large proportions seen in some Italian pipes, this bent Billiard from Salvatore Amorelli offers lithe, refined shaping. The tall, somewhat slender bowl is poised at the end of a slim, lightly flaring shank. Paired to the stummel is a lengthy, willowy stem that curves downward in elegant fashion, similar to that seen on Anglo-French Prince pipes. Displaying an alluring, striking profile, this piece is wearing a rugged, spiral-like rustication, with the shank mostly cloaked in a jet-black, smooth finish that complements both bowl and mouthpiece.
