Italian Estates: Ardor Christmas 1998 Holly Carved Billiard (8) (Dorelio Rovera) Tobacco Pipe

While Ardor is known for their expertise with large pipes, as well as their often dramatic finishes, this pipe is a touch more understated for the workshop. Released as part of the 1998 Christmas season, this pipe still features some large bowl and chamber proportions, though it is by no means oversized. A fluting stem finishes in a soft taper, with its bit stylized as it nears the button, and its stummel has been finished in a rugged rustication, though spot-carved with a smooth holly leaf. This is one of two examples we've seen from this particular year's Christmas release, making it rather rare, and its handsome looks ensure that it can be smoked whenever, not just during the Yule time.
