The Autograph series represents one of Savinelli's most superior lines, comprised of quality, handmade briars designed and executed by Savinelli's skilled artisans. As each piece is hand-shaped, there is a bit of variety from one piece to the next, and designs range from renditions of textbook classics to impressive Freehand shapes. This bent Dublin is one of the more classically inclined pieces from the Italian workshop, the towering, deep-chambered bowl flaring conservatively into its plateau-crowned rim, its surface matching that of the shank face. The rich, mahogany contrast stain brings out the best of the briar's grain, with lively licks of flame grain engulfing the bowl's flanks.
