A restrained Blowfish design from Claudio Cavicchi, it's a rare shape to emerge from the Italian carver, and this sandblasted presentation follows the same understated shaping as previous renditions we've seen but with extraordinary horizontal grain elevating the bowl. An accent of olivewood deftly contrasts against the brown stain of the stummel and pivots the texturally intriguing sandblast to the smooth, flat, stylized saddle mouthpiece. A single ridgeline adds asymmetry as it swoops up the far side of the bowl and provides additional stimulation for wandering finger pads as they explore the remarkable texture of this Italian rendition.
