The bold, svelte "802" Canadian from Savinelli presents a classic shape with a bit of Italian styling in its prominent heel. The long, oval shank maintains low altitude at the transition, reinforcing the august ascension of the bowl as a distinct element. Offering subtle ridgelines along each side of the shank for a bit of structural foundation, this classic English shape has been ably rendered in striking Italian style.

The vast majority of Savinelli's portfolio consists of pipes drilled with a 6mm airway to accommodate the Italian marque's proprietary balsa filters. While these filtered Savinelli pipes come with an included adapter for use without a filter, some pipe smokers prefer not to deal with that added accessory.
