Though Musico is an Italian workshop, their pipes tend to reject the dramatic proportions and whimsicality of the Italian neoclassicists. Instead, Musico produces relatively svelte and compact designs more in line with Anglo-French shape charts, as evidenced by this Billiard. Just a touch over five inches in length, this Billiard pairs a pert, upright bowl to a slender shank and a trim, gently downturned mouthpiece. A sterling silver band marks the junction and provides a dose of flash to the composition that really pops against the rugged, dark sandblast covering the stummel.
