Italian Estates: Brebbia Pura Smooth Bent Billiard (One Star) Tobacco Pipe

Though it comes in at under five and a half inches long, this piece from Brebbia's unique Pura line is quite robust, presenting with a bowl that rises to over two inches tall. not only is it hearty in the hand, but the entire piece is possessed of a striking shaping that poises the shank and stem for comfortable smoking while keeping the transition wide enough to drape a thumb. The shank itself takes on a slightly angular upward curve that meets a gently bent stem of black acylic, with matching color flowing into the back of the shank. The bowl's plump walls and low-set waist lend it a comfortable feel in the hand, and its dressing in a warm mahogany stain reveals some lovely flicks of flame grain surrounding it, contrasting the black hues of the shank and stem very well.
