In comparison to some of Ser Jacopo's wilder, more playful Pesaro pieces, this classic straight Billiard is conservatively shaped. The tall, substantial bowl is backed by a tapering shank-and-stem combination that nicely balances the bowl's robust aesthetic. Accented with a bright silver band and dressed in a warm auburn stain that highlights stunning flame grain engulfing the bowl, this is an elegant pipe and a bit of a departure, size-wise for the Italian workshop.
