Dated to 1989, this vintage Stack from Castello boasts a towering bowl that rises from a firm, muscular heel and builds upward to an undulating, plateau-crowned rim. The bowl houses a capacious chamber over two inches deep, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. The shank-and-stem arrangement tapers gradual from the transition to the bit, slenderizing the aft side of the composition and lending the bowl most of the visual weight in profile. A warm, traditional smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights fine tendrils of flame grain across the bowl's flanks, while a sterling silver band adorns the shank end and provides a touch of flash to the overall design.
