A hearty, palm-filling hunk of briar, this bent Dublin from Radice presents a hulking bowl that's posed at the fore of an comparatively slender shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl houses a capacious chamber over two inches deep within its incredibly stout insulating walls, ensuring not only plenty of leisurely smoking sessions but also a ton of substance for the fingers to embrace. The bowl flares from its rounded heel to its broad, plateau-crowned rim, while the shank and stem gradually curl out back into a reserved S-curve. The dark Silk Cut sandblast dresses the stummel and unveils waves of growth rings across the flanks of the bowl, providing plenty of tactile and visual appeal.
