Italian Estates: Il Duca Conte Smooth Billiard (D) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-35392

Massimiliano Rimensi is an Italian artisan who carves under the name Il Duca in tribute to the historical dukes of his native Ferrara. His unique style incorporates elements from both Danish and Italian pipe making traditions, making his aesthetic quite singular. This Billiard is a testament to that fusion, featuring a more Anglo-French silhouette with its soft heel and pert bowl. Rimensi adds his own flourish by extending the round shank to near Liverpool proportions, completing the ensemble with a tapered cumberland stem. Dressed in a typically Italian natural finish, the Duca-grade stummel boasts straight and flame grain around the bowl, with touches of birdseye at the rim and heel.
