A handsomely classic rendition of the straight Billiard is presented here from Don Carlos, the brand of Italian carver Bruto Sordini, displaying a pert, poised bowl at the end of its wide transition. This bowl is proud and upright, its walls offering a gentle curvature for the fingers to appreciate, as well as ample space over the transition to drape a digit. The shank here is svelte, tapering gently into the similarly tapering stem and comprising a sleek combination with it through the aft section of this piece. Dressed in a warm mahogany stain, the bowl showcases some swirling birdseye on either flank, with the midsection striated by cross grain.
