Italian Estates: Caminetto Partially Rusticated Bent Dublin with Silver (8.R.19) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-35574

Italian workshop Caminetto produces shockingly few straight Dublins, with the bent iteration of the shape made far more often by the Ascortis. This rather straight iteration, too, showcases a touch of curvature about its shank and stem, though this is subtle enough to place the draft hole at nearly a perfectly straight line, with only a touch of deviation through the stem. This combination of shank and stem have additionally been carved in an ovoid shape, placing it lower on the bowl and lending it a more low-profile look, while simultaneously framing the flanks with a pair of subtle ridges and remaining muscular when seen from above. The bowl urges forward nicely and flares as it rises upward, favoring the fore and providing plenty of room to enjoy the crisp rustication of the stummel, its smooth rim offering textural contrast, while the silver band at the junction stands out with its vibrant elegance. Unsmoked.
