A sturdy, muscular design, this Bulldog from Mastro Geppetto features a tall bowl that flares from its reserved heel to its mid-set waistline. At the waistline, the bowl tapers swiftly along its rim, which is demarcated from the rest of the stummel by a soft ridgeline. Out back, the shank lifts gently out of the low-set transition and marries a demurely curved mouthpiece of jet-black acrylic. The diamond shank's crisp ridgelines reinforce the shape's brawny build and add a touch of structure to the overall form. The handsome Liscia smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights a lively mixture of cross grain and birdseye about the bowl.
