Italian Estates: Castello Aristocratica Fiammata Bent Egg (2020) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-35736
Castello's Aristocratica finish and Fiammata designation — the former marked by a fumed rim and hearkening to pipes from the '60s and '70s that Carlo Scotti gave only to close friends, and the latter denoting pipes that display exception flame-grain orientation — aren't particularly rare within the Italian marque's portfolio. However, they are each quite special in their own rights. What is exceptionally rare, though, is to find a Castello pipe deserving of the Fiammata grade that also wears the Aristocratica's iconic finish. This bent Egg is one such piece, featuring a muscular diamond shank, demurely curved saddle stem, and a bold, plateau-crowned bowl.
