This bent Dublin from Don Carlos possesses a tall bowl that flares from its subtly lifted heel to its broad, dynamically undulating rim. The fore of the bowl is raised higher than the aft side, which, along with the aforementioned lifted heel, contributes to the composition's forward-driving momentum. The shank-and-stem arrangement glides from the low-set transition and terminates at a gently downturned bit, its easy flow and extended length stretching out this pipe's profile. A craggy, darkly-stained rustication dresses the stummel and provides ample texture for the fingers to explore.
