Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Smooth Poker with Silver (L1) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-36356

A tall, neoclassically-oriented Poker from Pesaro-based workshop Ser Jacopo, this piece is quite the striking iteration of the classic shape. Said bowl is more than two and a half inches tall, with a chamber that's deceptively shallow compared to the stature of the walls that surround it. The transition is mid-set, almost exactly oriented at the middle of the bowl's walls, and a trim shank pushes out from it, meeting a sleekly tapering stem that's quite a bit longer than the shank itself. A warm chestnut stain dresses the stummel and showcases windswept flame grain wrapping around the bowl, while silver caps at the rim and the base offer vivid contrast.
