Boasting a full five "C" stamps, denoting exceptional craftsmanship and grain, this bent Brandy from Claudio Cavicchi presents a voluptuous, forward-canting bowl, its lifting heel and low-mass showing the classic taper to the rim of the traditional form. In Italian neoclassical style, the plump, robust bowl garners the form's visual weight, while the rather short shank and much-abbreviated saddle stem trail behind. There's plenty of surface area on which to appreciate the tight bands of flame grain engulfing the bowl, while the underside is saturated with beautiful birdseye.
