A robust Acorn from Rinaldo, this Triade piece pairs a full-bodied bowl to a comparatively more slender stretch of shank and stem in true neoclassical fashion. The Italian workshop has done well here to create a pipe with ample curvature throughout, though especially at the bowl, its walls rising tall and flaring to a domed rim while maintaining soft lines that the fingers are sure to appreciate. The chamber it holds is deep and wide, sure to offer lengthy smoking sessions, and the wide transition that pairs it to the shank leaves plenty of room to drape a digit. The shank pushes out from here and takes on a subtle flare at its end, meeting a stylized saddle stem that's very gently bent at its bit. Dressed in a warm auburn stain, the stummel here showcases some handsome flame grain throughout, with birdseye at the rim for further visual appeal.
