A rather minimalist take on the Poker shape, yet still quite "Radice" in its execution and overall proportions, this Silk Cut piece from Gigi and sons boasts a stout, cylindrical bowl with both a capacious chamber and thick supporting walls, paired with a well-defined transition and an arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. Such a straightforward design places more emphasis on the grain — which here in a smoky, high-contrast stain and sandblasted finish, happens to be wave after wave of undulating growth rings, with these hues contrasted by the vibrant yellow coloration of the stem.
