Ser Jacopo's dark and compelling Niger finish is here paired to a bent Billiard of surprising traditional appeal, given the usual large proportions that Ser Jacopo is so famous for. The tall bowl tapers from the rim to a roundly contoured heel, which sweeps in profile up the underside of the shank to the elegant sterling accent band. The grain is beautifully defined by the stain, and in conjunction with the jet-black acrylic stem, is starkly juxtaposed against the silver. Light in hand and well balanced, it's a Ser Jacopo of restrained design for the classicist in all of us.
