Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Picta Van Gogh (L2) (C) (17) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-37004
Inspired by the sleek pipe featured in Van Gogh's Young Man with a Pipe (1884), this bent Pot is part of Ser Jacopo's Picta line, which depicts pipes found in famous paintings. The round, stout bowl is paired here to a gently rising shank and stem that then turns down at the bit. In a playful bit of shaping, the bowl's flattened rim is edged beneath by a wrapping ridgeline. Rife with feathery streaks of flame grain around the bowl, this piece is further commended by a trim metallic ring, lending a tasteful dash of flash.
