A fairly rare shape in the world of pipe making, the Skater is defined by its pointed, forward-ebbing heel, cinched waistline, and flared rim. This particular interpretation comes from Posella and boasts all of those aforementioned shaping cues, but in a reserved overall length. Though it measures under five inches from bowl to bit, this piece boasts a rather muscular build, offering plenty of substance for the fingers to admire. It's further elevated by a smoky smooth finish that highlights tight strands of flame grain across the flanks of the bowl. Unsmoked.
