A rare piece from Radice, even rarer with a straight shank, this Volcano will be of great interest to collectors. With a tall, muscular bowl displaying the Volacno's characteristic broad base and upward taper, a low-set, abbreviated shank, and slightly bent saddle stem, this piece is a natural Sitter that's well suited to a variety of smoking postures. Dressed in Radice's Silk Cut sandblast, the stummel boasts excellent ring grain that ripples up the tall bowl, and its striking design is elevated by the workshop's iconic faux bamboo carving at the shank.
