Though quite compact, measuring less than five inches from end to end, this bent Apple from Radice boasts a rather neoclassical build, with the plump, supple bowl taking on most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the comparatively trim shank-and-stem arrangement. The shank and stem take on an aquiline curve that immediately brings to mind the Hawkbill shape, the duo reaching from the low-set transition and adding a touch of fluid gesture to the shape's profile. It's dressed in a ruby-hued sandblast that unveils rippling waves of grain across the bowl's flanks.
