Ser Jacopo's Foeda line is defined by a stem that can be reversed (rotated upside down) to smoke the pipe in a "straight" manner. This Hawkbill is a whimsical entry from the Italian workshop, with its tall bowl displaying well-defined beadlines on the smooth, rounded bowl. The shank seems to have a bit more playful bend or "hump" before getting to the downturned stem, or upturned if you prefer. It's adorned with a bright, silver ring, adding a dash of flash and lightening the form. Dressed in a warm, mahogany stain, this is a handsome briar that nestles firmly in hand.
