Italian Estates: Mauro Armellini Straight Grain Bent Billiard Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-36891
Though we've seen quite a few bent Billiards from the Mauro Armellini workshop, which is now headed by his daughter Wilma, we've yet to see one quite like this example. Stack-like in silhouette, this pipe rises to nearly three inches tall and holds within its thick, insulating walls a chamber of nearly two and a half inches in depth. It balances this massive bowl with a demurely curved stretch of shank and stem that's gently compressed at the top and underside, lending it an ovoid shape. Dressed in a warm, honeyed stain and fitted with a brown acrylic stem, this pipe showcases some handsome grain and is sure to make a great addition to a rotation or collection.
