Measuring less than five inches in total length, this Calabash from Il Ceppo is a rather compact take on the classic form, but even given its reserved reach, it still boasts a rather muscular build, especially when considering the tall, deep-chambered bowl. Said bowl boasts the form's domed, overhanging rim and a steady downward taper to the heel. An upturned shank and steeply curved mouthpiece bring up the rear of the composition and encourage a comfortable smoking posture. A warm, honey-hued smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights a fetching mixture of flame grain and birdseye across the bowl.
